Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and disclosed by eEcosphere with respect to your access and use of our mobile and Facebook as well as with the website domain and related services, including third party services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using eEcosphere, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions described herein, including eEcosphere’s Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.

Information We Collect and How We Use It

We collect certain information from you through your use of the Service, such as information you provide to eEcosphere upon signing up and creating your profile. We also receive information from Facebook, including your name, age, location, gender, profile picture, and friends. Please be aware that Facebook’s information is subject to their Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. This is described in more detail below.

Information You Provide to Us and Our Partners

When you use the eEcosphere Service, limited information is collected about you based on what you provide in your eEcosphere profile. You consent that to sharing any information, including personal information, you provide through the Services with eEcosphere and its partners.  You understand that when you choose to interact with 3rd parties using the Services your personal information can be provided to these 3rd parties. The information we collect from your Facebook account depends on what information you provide those accounts and the privacy settings you've set. In the future, eEcosphere may integrate with additional third party services.

We may need to send you announcements and account-related messages. These are considered part of the Service, and will be done through push notifications or emails. You are not able to opt-out of receiving these messages.

Information Learned From your Use of eEcosphere

We may gather and analyze your actions on eEcosphere in order to derive or infer aggregate statistics characteristics that may be descriptive of not just you, but of a broader category of people (for example, when someone is likely to visit a venue or the day of the week they are likely to engage in a certain activity). This derived information is anonymized and used to improve and personalize eEcosphere’s advertising and recommendation services for you and other users.

How We Share Your Information with Others

We will not share the personal information we have collected from you, except as described below:

  • when you give us your consent to do so, for example, when we tell you that the information you provide will be shared in some way and you provide us that information;
  • when we believe we are authorized or legally required to do so or that doing so is necessary or appropriate to comply with the law or legal processes or respond to lawful requests or legal authorities, including things like subpoenas, warrants or court orders;
  • in connection with any merger, transfer or sale of company assets, financing, acquisition, or similar transaction or circumstance; or
  • to enforce or apply our Privacy Policy, our Terms of Use or our other policies or agreements.
  •

    Do Not Track

    Do Not Track (DNT) is a privacy preference users can set if they do not want web services to collect information about their online activity. However, there is currently no universal standard for sending and receiving DNT signals. Due to this lack of universal standard, it would be impossible for us to promise that we comply with all known and unknown DNT standards.

    Therefore, eEcosphere does not in any way monitor or respond to DNT signals or other mechanisms that provide a choice regarding the collection of personally identifiable information about activities over time and across different Web sites or online services.

    If a universal standard for DNT becomes available we may revisit our DNT Policy.

    Sharing Content with Third Party Services

    The eEcosphere Service is directly integrated with Facebook, enabling users to share certain activities on eEcosphere with Facebook, such as any events you push out and explicitly shared posts. Users are responsible for the content they choose to share, and are bound by the respective terms of service and privacy policy for each social networking service. eEcosphere has no responsibility to provide or maintain integration with any particular third party service.

    Accessing Your Information

    If you would like eEcosphere to delete your personal information that eEcosphere has collected, please contact us with your request. We will take steps to delete your information as soon as is practicable, but some information may remain in archived/backup copies for our records and as otherwise required by law.

    How We Protect Your Information

    We employ administrative, physical, and electronic measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. However, despite those efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

    Links to Other Sites

    eEcosphere may contain links to other services, apps, and sites not operated by us (we refer to these as "Other Sites"). Any information you provide on those Other Sites is provided directly to whoever owns that site and is subject to their privacy policy. Our Privacy Policy does not apply to those Other Sites, and we are not responsible for the content you provide to, or the privacy and security practices and policies of, Other Sites.

    Removal of Information from Children

    We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child under 13, we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.

    Changes to Our Privacy Policy

    Any information that is collected is subject to our Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is collected. We may, however, modify and revise our Privacy Policy from time to time. In the event of a modification to the Privacy Policy, eEcosphere will send you notice through the Service by push notification or email. It is required that you accept the revised Privacy Policy before continuing to use the Service. Your continued use of the Service following the announcement of any changes to the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, or Community Guidelines constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
